The Polaris Career Center Adult Education Department offers comprehensive education and training services that are key to individuals entering the job market, seeking a new career, or looking to update their qualifications. Our programs and services are continually upgraded and expanded to remain current with today’s changing technology and job market.

With over 200 quality courses and training programs, Polaris Adult Education offers a wide array of classes and seminars ranging from child care and small business to automotive technology and computer/information technology training.

You may register on this site for the majority of our classes, however; all Job Training program registrations must be completed by calling 440-891-7697. To learn more about these programs, click here: Job Training Programs

To register for a class, the process is simple...

1. Start by clicking the "Sign-In" link at the left  menu bar
2. Create your user name and password, (if you have taken a course with us since the fall 2004 semester, you may already have a user account. Please call (440) 891-7600 to obtain your user name and password)
3. Click on the "Registration", "Student Management", and "Add new student" to begin your Student Profile
4. Click on "Courses" and browse through the various categories
5. Choose a course and follow the on-screen instructions

Discounts

District residents of Berea, Brooklyn, Brook Park, Fairview Park, Middleburg Heights, North Olmsted, Olmsted Falls, Olmsted Township, and Strongsville receive a $5 discount on tuition fees with the exception of Childcare In-service, Motorcycle, On-Line Courses, and Real Estate Pre-License Fast Track Series classes.

There are several discounts available for Polaris Job Training Programs to those who qualify. Only one of the following discounts per program may be applied:

Residents of the communities listed above will receive a $100 discount on any Job Training Program tuition.

High school graduates of the school districts listed above are eligible for a 10% discount on any Adult Education Job Training Program. Student must present high school diploma at time of registration. 

Polaris GED Graduates are eligible for a 10% discount on any Adult Education Job Training Program.

Polaris GED Graduates receive a 10% discount on any Adult Education class with the exception of Childcare In-service, Motorcycle, On-:ine Courses, and Real Estate Pre-License Fast Track Series.

Senior Citizens - (65 years of age or over) will receive a 10% discount on the tuition of any class with the exception of Childcare In-service Motorcycle, On-Line Courses, and Real Estate Pre-License Fast Track Series classes.

Associate School Employees - Attend any Adult Education class tuition free, (materials/book fees must be paid by employee at time of registration). If the employee has not enrolled recently, please call the Adult Eduation office (440-891-7750) for your account to be activated. 

Polaris Career Center Employees - Attend any Adult Education class tuition free, (materials/book fees must be paid by employee at time of registration). The Real Estate Pre-License Fast Track Series class is excluded from this discount.

Polaris Career Center Staff Family - 10% tuition discount with the exception of Childcare In-service, Motorcycle, On-Line Courses, and Real Estate Pre-License Fast Track Series.
